RE: [papercreters] Please trust your moderators -- was: Manners

About the block cutting: I've found the chain saw works well but causes a lot of dust. I have also used the table saw with good cuts but mucho dust. My favorite method is with the sawzall with a metal cutting blade. The wood blade works too as does the pruning blade (which also works for cutting small diameter logs into firewood) but for some reason I like the metal cutting blade best.

I appreciate everyone's concerns, but please trust your moderators to take care of situations that may come up. If anyone wants to voice a complaint, please do so in a private email to the moderators instead of complaining to the entire group in a thread.

I know ifilmswest meant well. I appreciate his concern and enthusiasm for the group. I share it.

Your moderators care a great deal that everyone is allowed to express their thoughts about papercrete in a friendly respectful manner. We do our best, and we try very hard to deal with problems privately so everyone on the group doesn't need to see the arguments and can have fun

From time to time individuals will slip up. Including me.

Let's not blow one post out of proportion and create a long thread where everyone is complaining. It would kill the fun in this group.

The best response anyone can have right now is to post something fun and/or interesting about papercrete.

Ifilms, please repost your question in a new thread.

My sincere apologizes to the group...and oh yeah, welcome back Slurry Guy! Now for a dumb question. Getting ready to cut to size regular PC blocks can anyone suggest the best power tool type and blade...the blocks weigh about 60 lbs each...the last suggestion about the seized coupling on the power washer worked... that probably saved me at least a half case of Scotch...so thanks in advance.
