Joseph Jenkins' Humanure Handbook is available to be read for free online on his website.

That dude goes "all-in" on the topic of poop. Everything you wanted to know, and probably a bunch of things you didn't.

If you look at the table of contents for his book on the following link, you will see clickable links for each pdf file for each chapter of his book on the far right side of each chapter. Of course, for the price of purchasing the book, it's rather difficult to go wrong buying a copy. Also... Joe makes an offer in his book that he will mail a hard copy of his book FOR FREE to any city/county health department. So, if you are worried about getting code approval for a humanure toilet system, Joe is willing to be an "expert" on your side educating the government officials responsible for such things in your area.
