[papercreters] Re: MIXERS;

Overreact much?

Nobody was suggesting that a hand cranked mixer was a design intended to be used, "in the long run."

C'mon spaceman. It's okay to admit that a human powered mixer might be kinda fun to play with as a novelty.

Besides, after you mix enough papercrete to make your own custom ice chest with it, you can clean it out. I mean REALLY clean it. REALLY REALLY well. Then one could take it to picnics to make smoothies.

Living in the desert, even you should be able to appreciate the "good humor" value of an off grid smoothie machine.

What better way to encourage volunteers slinging papercrete slurry to hang around for another day of work than to offer them a nice refreshing Banana Daiquiri with their dinner? A bicycle powered mixer might become an energy multiplier!

I like the comment for the photo titled "working the mixer" - "very hard work."

Is Sheelakasha still around? How did this work out in the long run?
