[papercreters] Re: MIXERS;

There was a study several years ago in NYC.
The sidewalk in a certain area was getting fractured to pieces and those responsible for the maintenance were getting fed up with replacement costs of the concrete.

They observed the conditions for a time and decided to erect barricades to keep large heavy vehicles from jumping the curb and using the sidewalk to angle back for deliveries.

It didn't help one little bit!!

Eventually they discovered that those tiny little heels on the spike heels that pedestrians were wearing exerted more pressure per square inch than the large heavy vehicles that were the 'obvious' destructive force.

Why sling a 12 pound sledge if a pick is all that's required??
