RE: [papercreters] Thank You . . . What a great group!

Thanks Ken,

I don’t worry much about tasting some PC in the morning . . . I don’t embarrass too easily any more, been there. More concerned over the stuff that takes me (or someone) out of the game. Locally we’ve had some unexpected infrastructure experiences that unnerve us. Not very polite to have a major bridge fall down unexpectedly. Given the expertise available for interstate bridges, in general, that’s not supposed to occur.  If you’ve been ‘in’ a tornado, eerie green with a lot of stuff moving horizontally that normally doesn’t or 120mph straight line winds you take a little different view . . . static events don’t really test the idea like the variable events. To catch on here, PC has to prove itself in a great many ways. Not only affordable, durable & safe too.

I’m pretty well trained in project management, so I tend to try to picture the whole system, beyond what might be asked for. Like a network where each component contributes to the other components. And works for all the people involved. I’ve got 12+ acres, want my view of the lake, want to protect the house from the worst weather, use the heating system to provide CO2 to the greenhouse to provide food & O2 to the house . . . With an internet capable industrial controller that will do ‘wax on/ wax off’ no matter where I happen to be, it will text me to let me know I need to adjust things  . . . That just isn’t where most builders are at right now & I think there is a lot more than building a great house to live in, it’s building the whole community & having the space be ‘smart’ & people friendly. Winston Churchill said something like we create our homes & they create our lives . . .

I really enjoy having ‘unreasonable’ people who want to change something . . . Great conversation & the only thing that makes a difference . . . Lookin’ good is for movie stars.

Glad you found the group. Be sure to share your sucess and also the failures. A picture of you drenched in PC maybe???

Its gonna happen.

Up there where the popsickles live the PC should be a great material. Just keep it dry!
